The HSE guidance requires you to make sure that when using any lifting equipment the requirements of LOLER are met. One requirement is visibly marking with any appropriate information to be taken into account for safe use of the equipment. Examples of this are, Safe working loads, Accessories for example slings, clamps etc, all should be similarly marked.
