Earlsmere is a UK-based label manufacturer and industrial identification specialist, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. For over 35 years, we've manufactured and supplied high-quality labelling products, identification systems, and compliance solutions to businesses across every industry, from manufacturing and logistics to agriculture, construction and facilities management.
Our fully equipped production facility houses six label presses, from precision plain label makers to full-colour digital printing, giving us the flexibility to produce everything from short bespoke runs to high-volume industrial orders, all manufactured in the UK to the highest standards.
What We Do
Label Manufacturing — Our Core Expertise
Labelling is at the heart of everything we do. With over 300 standard label sizes available across a broad range of material substrates and adhesive options, Earlsmere can fulfil virtually any labelling requirement.
We manufacture and supply:
- Thermal Transfer Labels: Blank self-adhesive labels on rolls or fan-folded, compatible with all standard thermal transfer printers. Available next day in a wide range of sizes and materials.
- Direct Thermal Labels: Ideal for short shelf-life applications such as shipping labels, dispatch notes and best-before date marking.
- Bespoke Digital Printed Labels: Full-colour, low-volume custom labels produced on our digital press. No huge minimum runs, no compromise on quality.
- Health & Safety Labels: Compliant labelling for LOLER, MEWP, scaffold, ladder, PAT, warehouse, weight, water and more.
- HAV Labels: Specialist hand-arm vibration labels for tool and equipment management.

Our own branded HandyTag® range extends identification beyond the label into durable, weatherproof tag format, built for the harsh environments where paper labels simply won't last.
